There isn’t much to it, and is similar to conclusions drawn here, but is worth extracting on its own.

“Understanding enough” is for doing your taxes.

“Understanding” is for students of a craft. This is a pit that cannot be filled. An unleveeable^[1] tide.

So, unless you do taxes for a living—in which case I hope you mind the latter—learning to embrace enough, and learning which things are worth the mawing pit of hyperfixation, will bring tidings of nearly everything but world peace.
